The Maverick Convention aims to inspire and to stimulate awareness of individual and collective consciousness. Awareness which does not separate inner (sub)consciousness from its external –visible- manifestation; awareness which recognizes the indivisibility of the whole, that all is one.
Western society has come to value rationale over intuitive knowledge, and scientific specialization is awarded high status. To (re)gain sight of the whole, however, we believe it is necessary to make connections as opposed to separating the elements into ever smaller - isolated - parts  How?
By highlighting seemingly disparate views and ideas and demonstrating their interconnectedness. As such, we choose not to affiliate ourselves with any movement or -ism, and wish to support all ideas we consider inspirational.

The Maverick Convention functions as a platform on which diverse alternative and inspiring ideas/views on a broad range of issues are presented.
